We endeavour always to find the right matches for each house by following a 5-step process that helps us to find the most suitable people to live with you.

How do we find the right fit?

THE  5 – STEP COLLECTIVE FIT PROCESS

At this stage you can find out more information about the room, the home and more importantly the house mates who live in it. It is also an opportunity for us to find out some basic information about you; who you are, what you do for work, your regular work pattern and when you are looking to move. We will also discuss other rooms/homes we think might suitable for you.

It’s important to meet with you in person to not only view the home but to talk to you further about your preferences/likes/dislikes and get to know you better. We are always thinking of who in our homes you would fit in well with. We will meet you at the property and show you around the house detailing everything we offer in terms of space, storage, services and house mate information. We can also arrange for you to meet some of the house mates should you wish too.

If you can’t make it to the area to see the house in person, then fear not, we can send you a video link, please request one and we will be happy to help

If you can’t make a face to face viewing, worry not, we are happy to do interviews via Zoom to discuss the house in more detail & answer all of your questions

You have decided to take the room Yippee! The next step is to take it off the market, to do this we ask for a holding deposit of £100, the room advert is then taken down and all other viewings cancelled. You will then have 2 working days to provide us with the rest of the details we need to process and approve your application. We need 4 key things from you to do this; proof of earnings, employer reference, landlord reference and right to rent in the UK (passport details).

Once your application has been approved, a rental contract signed and all your monies paid, the next step is to book your check in where you can meet with us to pick up your keys and be shown how to use all the facilities in your new home.

Just before you move into the home, we send a message to your housemates to let them know about your arrival and we also get their permission to share phone numbers with you and vice versa. You will also receive a welcome booklet from us too which will provide you with everything you need to know about your home.
